Taken Down by the Sea

I’m drowning, in a sea of emptiness
After falling off a thin plank,
While reaching out for the anchor
Wondering out, further away from shore,
Deserted inside, where icebergs
Collide against the stinging reef,
Jump out, onto the ripped sail
Only to suffocate, on the absence
Of the benevolent tow, to safety,
Where warmth kisses in the embrace,
Of passion
Died on a rock, poking out from my chest,
This sea, I’m daunted by,
Crushes my muscle and leaves me hollow
Howling, at the curse, reflected in her eyes.

The Hunter and it’s Prey

An abrasive squawk, barges in
To a tightly grasped serenity,
Always distant,
Running into the depths, from it’s
Predator mocking a chilled turmoil
Is I, as I hide in the mid summer’s
Night garden, from the dwelling beast,
Sniffing out, my dread,
Where is my resting scape,
As a vanishing point, loses sight
In the crushing waters
Swallowing, the unattainable light,
Silence in this wrestle,
As I plot my stiff, weary bones
Beside these huddled stones, upright,
Tall, as they seclude my pant,
But for how long,
How much of the sand wastes away
Before my hunter, catches wind,
How will I know,
Will it be when cold fire seizes
My heart, in the howling echo
Of the collapsed pendulum,
As the vacant chime, of a halted world
Shines just enough light,
Upon me,
Found in muddled fright,
How long will I do this, hiding
From the stalking truth
That I, am a stranger
Amongst the living,
So I rise arms open as swift wings
Of my scrounger approaches
And carries me away,
Into the ambit.

High Noon

Her dare, stares down the steep barrel
Pointed, at her glaring gaze,
Switching from fore to background
Finding the wielder
In the same entrapment, a duel
In the high tide of a dispute,
Which one will pull the trigger
Tied to the noose, firmly knotted
Tightening, as the seconds flash by,
Each of their triggers, twitches and
Gasping heart dropping moments
Was a polysemy of all that stood still,
And all that will be their epilogue,
Closing covers of steep horizons
Now, just a shallow grave in frantic waters,
She braces for impact from
Her pistol’s kickback, zooming in
On her target’s tremorous eye,
She smirks,
But, before Her pulsating finger dares
She feels cold, from the burning wound
Singeing breath, fogging up her gaze,
As his shadow, topples over her end.

Beyond the Surface

Her fear resides in arms
Silencing her vibrancy in the cold
Still wind that burns through her,
An eclipsed hell she drowns in,
When he leaves her, chained
To the floor of their bed,
Buried, in his possession, he holds
Her in the snap of his finger,
A marionette sitting blankly on his lap,
She lives in absence, running away
Only in her hollowed mind, with no light
At the end of a boundless gorge.

A curious cat pries in, through
Shackled gates of the domain where
Torment, houses its victim,
Drawn in by her cavernous cries
Displayed, in elegant frames along
The walls of this eternal chasm,
The cat nears the clasped horror
That bends the bones of the bellowing
Louder, stiffening, the cat’s cautious Approach as the shadows crash
Against the cat’s terrified expression,
Feeling the impact of clash to flesh
Reverberate through its chilled soul,
It’s heavy breath, fogging up
The colliding torrent engulfing the cat
Who finds the abused,
And the devil, within her
Carving into her, branding her as he
Rips out the light from under her grasp,
This horror, seen by the frightened cat
Scared white, and found elusive
In it’s own noose, as the crucified one
Still lies back, letting the demon
Have his way with her.

Glimpse of What Vanished

The diligence of him carried the world by,
For all he wanted, was to find her light
Hidden, in the darkest recesses of emptiness,
She was still, laying in the dining water
As every sail, went on beside the fear,
The guide bringing them, blocking
Thought in the paralysis of beat,
He stood there, amongst the daring
With fire glaring at his fainting strength,
By the pinch of sight into the beyond
He captures her, in the waning window
Of revival, for she seems further away
Every moment he can’t see her,
He jumps in, falling faster down the singed
Path, eclipsing his decent was the dark
Of the plateau he ascended from,
He crashed to the above originating
Below where he poured night
Into the delusions perched on the table,
Realizing, his glass is empty again,
She’s gone, faded into the whispered wings,
As he gets up, puts foot into grass
And walks up to her grave,
Staring, looking for a glimpse
Of her, to capture.

Walls in the Ocean

image

But why build those walls?
Why put yourself out from calm
And shallow travels
Into the disturbing depths
That swallow you in shattered pieces
You, yourself ripped into,
Why marinate in bitterness?
Why dive into the metamorphosis
In which you don’t recognize
When looking into the reflection below,
Why sit, with a tight fist around
Your vacant sound, trapped
In that dark abyss, your throat,
To talk, is to slit your gullet
Then it kills you, leaves you
On the scavenge shores,
Where the black gull swoops down,
And meets your sunken eye,
Why put yourself into torment?
Because pain is who you’re in love with,
He barged in, unexpectedly
When you were most vulnerable
To its spike, that carved deeper
The more you closed up,
It sank you from the collision with
It’s stern, looking down the rabbit hole,
That’s where we lost you,
Why?
Because we stopped looking
For all those small, scattered pieces.

The Stranded

I have fought many wars,
Fields, encapsulated my prints
On stages of more defeats, than anything,
Traps and barricades were venomous,
As I tried to elude them on my path
Along the exploding shores
Of crashed lives that were, once
By my side, fighting equal battles,
But, lost along the way as I reach tops
Of mountains above eroded river banks
Holding the frightened sanity, crawling
To the foot of their devil,
I stand alone, defeated in my escape,
How can I rescue the stranded?

From the Mountain into a New World

Captivated, by a neverending sprawl
Upon a thick blanket over our eyes,
Not able to see what blooms beyond
Seclusion, of an uneducated heart
As he climbs, were no ray of day
Kisses the mundane,
Just, an everlasting disguise
To cattle sanity within the outer limits,
Yet he pulls forward to the high peak
And looks down upon his prison,
No remorse for abandonment of his box
That kept him cold and prosaic,
Enveloped in strict quarters, he escaped
To find himself on the brink of freedom,
All he has to do, is cross over
Beyond the mountain’s brow,
Into an unknown,
Into the theory, of latitude,
For the gates out of sanity can be found
Where no one dares to climb.

Youthful Evermore

Her sickly gaze, catches them
Strolling through, unaware of her
Lurking presence in the midst,
A wooded camouflage, as she
Undresses her desire, for youth
In the unsheath of canine,
Pounce, them in a single tick
As their screams are suffocated
In her narrow gullet, leaving parts
Cold and dry, to the circling vultures,
Stealing what she had lost
Many decades ago, while taking
The blind youth, stranded in her web,
After every drink ingested, she’s back
In her home, the day, the swing crashed.

It was early in the settling sun,
As the shadow is swallowed
By the house, pervading laughter,
When out from the gallow of the door
She emerged, stripped and torn
Apart, from the inside,
Stumbling, on weakened stilts
Through the stillness of hubris
In the watchful eyes of Laius.
